Privacy Policy

Dramah ("we", "our", "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

1. Information we collect

  • Account information: When you sign up, we collect your email address and a username you choose.
  • Watchlist data: The titles you log, your reactions (Loved, Liked, Fine, Skip), notes, and list names are stored so you can access them across devices.
  • Usage data: We may collect anonymised data about how the app is used (pages visited, features used) to improve the product. This does not include the content of your watchlist.
  • Device information: Standard server logs may include your IP address, browser type, and operating system.

2. How we use your information

  • To provide and personalise the app — showing your diary, lists, and Taste Card.
  • To improve Dramah — understanding which features are used helps us build a better product.
  • To communicate with you — if you opt in, we may send product updates or important account notices.
  • We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

3. Data storage

  • Your data is stored securely using Supabase, hosted on servers in the European Union. We use row-level security to ensure you can only access your own data.
  • Passwords are never stored in plain text — authentication is handled by Supabase Auth.

4. Third-party services

  • Google Sign-In: If you choose to sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from Google solely to create and identify your account. We do not access your Google Drive, Gmail, contacts, or any other Google data. You can revoke this access at any time from your Google account settings at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
  • TMDB (The Movie Database): We use the TMDB API to display film and TV information, posters, and metadata. Your watchlist data is not shared with TMDB.
  • Vercel: Our hosting provider. Requests to Dramah pass through Vercel's infrastructure.
  • Resend: We use Resend to send transactional emails (account notifications, OTT alerts). Your email address is shared with Resend solely for this purpose.
  • We do not use third-party advertising services or tracking pixels.

5. Your rights

  • You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from your account settings.
  • You can export your watchlist data by contacting us.
  • If you are in the EU/EEA, you have rights under GDPR including access, rectification, and erasure of your data.

6. Cookies

  • We use a single session cookie to keep you signed in. We do not use third-party cookies or advertising cookies.

7. Changes to this policy

  • We may update this policy as the product evolves. Material changes will be communicated via the app or email.
